User Data Deletion

In eglowsChat you can ask at any time for all the personal data we hold about you to be deleted. The request is free, you do not need to give a reason, and you do not need an account.

How to request it

Write to contacto@eglows.com with the subject “Data deletion” and include:

• The phone number you used to message on WhatsApp, with its country code.
• The name of the business you were talking to, if you remember it.

We verify that the request comes from the person who owns the number before carrying it out. This step exists to protect your data: without it, anyone could request the deletion of someone else’s history. That is why this page does not offer an instant deletion form.

We process the request within 30 calendar days and confirm through the same channel once the deletion has been carried out.

What gets deleted

• Your contact: phone number and WhatsApp profile name.
• All your conversations with the business using eglowsChat.
• The content of every message you sent and received, and their attachments.
• Your interactions with the automated assistant: the messages you sent it and the replies it generated.
• Your membership of any marketing campaign list.
• The delivery and read metadata associated with those messages.

Deletion is permanent: once carried out, the data cannot be recovered.

If you only want to stop receiving campaigns

You do not need to delete all your data. You can ask to opt out of marketing communications alone by replying to the message you received or writing to contacto@eglows.com. Opting out is free and does not affect your ability to keep talking to the business, nor the service messages you asked for, such as an order confirmation or an appointment reminder.

What deletion does not cover

• The copy of the messages that Meta Platforms keeps in WhatsApp’s infrastructure, which is governed by that company’s policies.
• Records we are required to retain under an express legal provision. Where that applies, we tell you the reason and the retention period.

Other rights
